I think tickets were $125 for the upper deck. There are only two prices. Row 1 - 26 are $75 and row 27 - 40 are $125. The higher the better. You cant see the back stretch from row #26.
Then you have Pitt passes. We got them for free last yeat as part of our package so Im not sure what they ran. Do you know Jeff? Parking is free and food is like any other sports venue. There was an article on NASCAR.com about the sponsors backing out due to the economy, so Im not sure what that will do to the cost of tickets this year. Once I get a good count, Ill call for tickets. The only other cost is the Team radios. The first person has to pay $35 and everyone else pays $15. Then its just a big daisey chain. You plug into the person next to you and you all have to listen to the same team. You can change the channel, but you all have to listen to the same thing. Jeff and I are going to get the more expensive one. but it also gives you a hand held TV screen that u can see the video from the cars and pitts. Not sure what that costs or if you can dasiey chain off of it. So one can get away with paying about $150 each. I will pay for the Motorhome and flags. we can all drive there from one location. Geeeez, do I sound like a redneck or what? Motorhome and beer. Oh yeah, then there is the cost of the beer and you have to bring your own seat cushion. I bought them last year at Walmart for $15. Scott, let me know ASAP. Randy, are you in and Chris are you still in? Dave, it would be great to see you there as well, Mike, sounds like your a No and Dad Im guessing your a No too.

does the motor home come with a CB ?
ReplyDeleteSteve... we definitely want the upper deck seats @ $125 per. we can worry about all the gizmos and gadgets when we get there. In any event it sounds like we have to bring a bucket of cash to finance this thing. If its a hot day, cold beer sounds good, (coke for james). Ill bring some high optic binoculars of course, I have 2 pair, One of which i got for xmas when i lived on brass lantern and i kept it all these years. Its from Sears and in great shape, its a beast. it weighs a ton as it was made out of hard core metals, not the cheap plastic. James recently got me a more sophisticated pair for xmas that is sharp as a tack and with highly regarded optic lens for high definition - type of viewing. Very cool. In conclusion, Count me and James as a GO ! Breaker breaker good buddie. pink panther out. ( thats for you Mike).
ReplyDeleteYou might want to reconsider on the heavy binos. Seating is cozy. I took a pair of 7 x 35 pair that were cheap but did the jpb. The smaller the better. But Ill talk to you about it before we go.
